(Vioxx), Bristol-Myers Squibb (Tequin), and numerous insurance companies, including American Family, Farmers, Prudential, State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Allstate, and Progressive.
Mr. Garrison has also appeared in multiple appellate cases before the Colorado Supreme Court, the Colorado Court of Appeals, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, where he successfully briefed and argued numerous complicated and unique issues of insurance, personal injury, governmental immunity, consumer protection, class action, constitutional, and administrative procedure law.
Mr. Garrison received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Iowa in 1980, and graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1984. His Casenote, “The Illinois Business Takeover Act” was published in 1983 in the Southern Illinois University Law Journal. At the Southern Illinois University School of Law, he served as a Notes and Comments Editor of the Law Journal, and also was a member of the Moot Court Board.
Mr. Garrison is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the El Paso County Bar Association, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, where he has served on the Board of Directors and been a legal education seminar speaker.
